Questions
From custom-made orders and fittings to shipping, consultations and training, here are answers to some of the questions we are asked most often.
Book ConsultationEvery JClothier experience is personal. These answers will help you understand what to expect before we begin.
01
Ordering & Custom-Made
Everything you need to know before beginning a custom-made JClothier piece.
How do I place a custom-made order?
The best place to begin is by booking a consultation. Tell us about the type of garment you would like, your occasion, preferred timeline and any ideas or inspiration you have. We can then discuss your requirements and guide you through the next steps.
Do you have fixed prices?
No. Our custom-made pieces do not have one fixed price because every garment is different. Pricing depends on factors such as the design, fabric, detailing, construction and timeline. Once we understand your requirements, we can provide a personalised quote.
Can I send an inspiration or reference image?
Yes. Inspiration images can help us understand the direction, details or overall feeling you have in mind. They are used as a reference when discussing the piece you would like JClothier to create for you.
How long does a custom-made order take?
Our typical timeline is approximately 2–5 weeks. The exact timeframe can vary depending on the design, level of detailing, fittings and current workload. We recommend contacting us as early as possible, especially for important occasions.
02
Measurements & Fittings
How we work towards the right fit for your individual garment.
How are my measurements taken?
Measurements form part of the custom-made process. Where possible, they can be taken as part of your consultation or fitting process. If you are ordering remotely, we can guide you on the measurements required for your garment.
How many fittings will I have?
Our custom-made process generally allows for two fittings. The exact fitting requirements can depend on the garment and your individual order.
Can I order if I don't live in Warri?
Yes. Being outside Warri does not automatically prevent you from working with JClothier. Remote communication and video can be used where appropriate to help with consultation and parts of the ordering process.
03
Shipping & Delivery
Receiving your JClothier piece locally or further afield.
Do you deliver outside Warri?
Yes. Orders can be arranged for customers outside Warri. Delivery arrangements will depend on your location and the requirements of your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. JClothier supports worldwide shipping. Shipping arrangements, timing and applicable delivery costs can be confirmed for your destination before dispatch.
When will my order be dispatched?
Your order will be prepared for dispatch once the garment is completed and the necessary order arrangements have been confirmed. Delivery time after dispatch will depend on the destination and delivery service used.
04
Payments
Information about paying for your JClothier order.
How can I pay?
JClothier accepts payment by bank transfer. Payment instructions will be provided as part of your order process.
Is a deposit required?
Any payment requirements for your order will be explained when your quote and order details are confirmed. This ensures you know what is required before work on your piece begins.
05
Ready-to-Wear
Questions about pieces from our ready-to-wear offering.
How do I order a ready-to-wear piece?
Explore the available ready-to-wear pieces on our website. The individual piece will show the relevant information and available ordering options.
Is ready-to-wear priced differently from custom-made?
Yes. Custom-made garments are individually quoted because they are created around specific requirements. Where a ready-to-wear piece has a set price, that price can be displayed with the individual piece.
Can I request changes to a ready-to-wear piece?
If you would like changes to an existing design, contact us before ordering. We can let you know what may be possible and whether your request would be better handled through our custom-made service.
06
Consultations
Starting the conversation about your next JClothier piece.
How do I book a consultation?
You can use our online consultation form to tell us about the piece, occasion and timeline you have in mind. Once submitted, the JClothier team can review your request and continue the conversation with you.
Can my consultation be remote?
Yes. Remote consultation can be arranged where appropriate, including communication by video when needed. This makes it possible to begin your JClothier experience even when you are not based in Warri.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before booking?
No. You can come to us with a clear design, an inspiration image or simply an idea of the occasion and how you would like to feel. The consultation helps us understand the direction with you.
07
Training
Beginning your learning journey with JClothier Training.
How do I apply for JClothier Training?
