JClothier Apparel
Terms &
Conditions
These terms explain the basis on which JClothier Apparel provides custom-made garments, ready-to-wear pieces and related services to our customers.
Please read before placing an order
Made with care. Ordered with clarity.
By placing an order with JClothier Apparel, you agree to the terms that apply to the products or services you purchase. Specific details agreed with you for an individual order may also form part of that order.
These terms should be read together with our Shipping and Privacy information and any order-specific information provided to you.
Your Order
Important things to know before we begin.
Custom-Made Orders
Custom-made garments are created specifically for the individual customer based on the agreed design, measurements, fabric, detailing and other requirements.
Once work has started on a custom-made order, the order cannot be cancelled.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and relevant information where measurements are supplied remotely or without being taken directly by JClothier.
Production timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the garment, fabric availability, fittings, alterations and other requirements of the individual order.
Deposits & Payments
A deposit may be required before work begins on an order. Any deposit paid towards an order is non-refundable.
The payment requirements and outstanding balance for an order will be communicated to the customer as part of the ordering process.
Where an outstanding balance remains, JClothier may require payment in accordance with the agreed payment arrangement before an order is released, collected or dispatched.
Custom-Made Returns
Because custom-made garments are produced specifically for an individual customer, completed custom-made pieces cannot ordinarily be returned or exchanged simply because the customer has changed their mind.
This does not exclude any rights or remedies that a customer may have under applicable Nigerian consumer protection law where goods are defective, do not conform to the agreed specification, or where another statutory remedy applies.
If you believe there is a problem with your completed garment, please contact JClothier promptly so the matter can be reviewed.
Ready-to-Wear Returns
Eligible ready-to-wear items may be returned within 3 days of receipt.
Returned items should be unworn, unused and returned in their original condition, except where the return concerns a defect or another right provided by applicable law.
Customers should contact JClothier as soon as possible within the return period before arranging a return.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove any consumer rights that apply under Nigerian law.
Fittings, Alterations & Design Changes
Fittings form an important part of the custom-made process and allow the garment to be reviewed and adjusted as necessary.
Once a customer has approved a fitting, design or agreed stage of work, subsequent changes requested by the customer may attract additional charges.
Where an additional charge applies, JClothier will communicate the relevant change and cost to the customer.
Collection of Completed Orders
Customers are expected to arrange collection or delivery of completed orders within a reasonable period after being notified that their order is ready.
Where an order remains uncollected and the full payment has not been completed, additional fees may apply.
Where the order has been paid for in full, no additional late-collection fee will be charged under this policy.
Please Note
Custom-made work cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Custom-made garments require time, materials and work specifically allocated to your order. Deposits are therefore non-refundable and cancellation is not available once work on the garment has started, subject always to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Design Changes
Changes after approval may cost more.
We want you to be confident in your piece, which is why fittings and approvals are part of the process. However, changing an agreed design or requesting new alterations after a fitting has been approved can involve additional materials and work.
Where this happens, additional charges may apply.

Clear communication throughout the process helps us create the piece you envisioned.
Photography & Portfolio
Your permission matters.
JClothier may wish to photograph completed garments for our portfolio, website, social media or other promotional material.
Where photographs or content identify or feature a customer, we will seek the customer's permission before using that material for promotional purposes.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivery arrangements depend on your destination.
Shipping charges, delivery arrangements and delivery estimates can vary according to destination and the delivery provider. International shipments may also be subject to customs duties, taxes or charges imposed by the destination country.
Read Shipping InformationGoverning Law
Governed by Nigerian law.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
